What is Hack IT?
Hack IT focuses on IT-security and attracts a wide range of students from all over the country who have an interest in IT, programming and security.
Throughout 24 hours a number of cases that need to be hacked will be presented - the cases are of different characteristics and difficulty, some are more technical than others and some require special tools and skills. No worry, there will be guidance and help to support your effort.
This time, Hack IT is organized in collaboration with the National Police Cyber Crime Center (NC3). NC3 are the good guys specialized in fighting cyber crime in Denmark.
What can you win?
In addition to the prize money of DKK 10.000, the winning team will receive an invitation to the Danish IT Security Conference 2019 (value DKK 8.180 per ticket).

About our sponsors
NC3 is the main national computer crime Unit in Denmark. It consists of different departments conducting traditional post mortem forensics, an online cybercrime and incident response section, and a department conducting investigations regarding serial molestation of children.
NC3 supports events for students such as Hack IT because it's important for us to show them that there could very well be a future for them in the police. We are always looking for new talents who have the competences to hack or investigate among other things. We are excited to welcome the forty participants at Hack IT on the 16th to 17th of November.
KMD is one of Denmark’s leading IT and software companies and we are a dynamic business with approximately 2500 employees. We invest heavily in Danish society, and each day Danish citizens make use of our systems. We like to call ourselves Denmark’s largest, funniest and most serious playground for IT talents. And we welcome all ideas no matter who presents them.
KMD is excited to support Hack IT and bring students, companies and real IT challenges closer together. We spend a lot of time in KMD listening to students’ fresh perspectives on today’s IT challenges and solutions. We’re convinced that the Hack IT will facilitate good networking opportunities for all participants. Good luck to all – and have fun!
