Public Exams and Coronavirus
The public exams held at Danish IT will still take place as scheduled. Danish IT are keeping abreast of the developments and recommendations from the public authorities and we follow them very closely. However, changes may occur, but we will keep all our participants updated on any future changes.
Participation
Get certified in IT Architecture by participating on demand in the public exam that can take place online and physical after your desire. As a participant, you can either request to take the exam online from home invigilated by an employee from Danish IT or you can choose to attend the exam physicial in Danish IT Society's venues in Copenhagen. There are no limited seats of the public exam, but Danish IT Society will have to confirm your request. Please submit a request at least 5 days in advance.
Registration
Suggest a date and time that suits you the best and fill out the registration form by clicking on 'Submit'.
Danish IT Society will get back to you via email within 2 working days. 2 days before the exam date, you will receive an additional email regarding details for your exam.
Time
The duration of the exam varies according to your choice of certification. The shortest exams have a duration of 1 hour and the longest of 2 hours.
Invoice
When you have signed up for the exam you will receive an invoice right after to the email address that you have registered with.
Cancellation and change of exam date
If you cancel or change your exam date later than 1 week before the exam, 50% of the participation fee will be charged.
If you wish to change and move your exam date, you will have to notify us by sending an e-mail to: certificering@dit.dk and then register yourself again on a new date here on the website.
If you want us to register you on a new date, you will be invoiced an administration fee of 295 DKK.
Certificates
Up to 10 working days after the exam you will receive a link via email to your digital certificate.
Candidates with special needs *
Candidates who have a physical disability, such as impaired vision, dyslexia or similar can apply for extra time for exams. Danish IT Society must be applied for this no later than 5 days before the exam and disability must be documented by public institutions.
Candidates who take the exam in a foreign language *
Candidates who take the exam in a language which is not their native language, can apply for extra time for the exam. Danish IT must be applied for this no later than 5 days before the exam and nationality must be documented via passport or similar.
*If a candidate have both, disabilitys and take the exam in a foreign language the extra time can only be achieved with one of the above reasons.

Danish IT Society recommends to register for the exam matching the language and version you have been studying in.
To register for an exam, these requirements applies:
Foundation Exam: No prerequisites required, self-study allowed.
Practitioner Exams: Proof of attended Practitioner course.
Master Exams: Proof of attended Master course.

Recommendations for self-study
Last year, ISTQB released a new version of the Foundation curriculum. DSTB has worked hard to get concepts, syllabus and exam updated in Danish. They have now finished their work and they have reached their goal, so our accredited training providers can now offer courses in both Danish and English in 2018 version.
This means that from 1 June 2019 you can only take Foundation exams in version 2018 in English and Danish.
If you have taken a Foundation certification in a previous version (2011/2012), it is still valid.
